TruckWorks caught a glimpse of the desperate need for tanker manufacturers to supply The Great White North in early 2011. Limited production slots and few manufacturers available gave TruckWorks an edge in the market that could provide the quick turnaround of tanks and could cater to the needs of the harsh weather environment of Canada. These customers were in need of larger tanks that could be supplied as kits for future installation, which turned out to be advantageous for both parties: ease of transport, expedited delivery time, and simplified orders. The majority of tanks sold thus far have ranged from a typical 3000 gallon to a colossal 6000 gallon kit! This deficit in the industry pushed us to be more innovative in the options our northern friends requested. We have since readily provided optional exhausting thru the tank to help prevent freezing in the arctic weather in Canada.

This need has progressed into 2012 to fully installed tanker trucks with a 360 degree insulated jacket surrounding the tank and majority of plumbing, something we previously utilized in with the 5000 gallon Articulating Tankers we built in 2009 to aide in creation of the Ice Road in Alaska.

We currently have a steady backlog of insulated water trucks that will be in service in Canada by 2013.
