Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience with Truck Works.
Most of my interaction with truck works has been with Mike Maddux, Mike is one of the most knowledgeable person that I have ever met. I thought I knew quite a lot about Water Trucks until I met Mike a few years ago. Mike is also very willing to share his knowledge with his customers.
We started out needing to replace a rusted out water tank on a truck that was about 10 years old. We were considering stainless steel at the time to get a tank that would last for years to come. Mike introduced us to the “Hot Dip” procedure that he has available to protect out steel tank from rusting. Mike brought samples to us to look at, he showed us all about the procedure and how it penetrates the metal etc. The Hot Dip is much less expensive than stainless steel.
We had the opportunity to have Truck Works build and install a new tank for us on our cab and chassis. It turned out very well.
The craftsmanship that went into this project was fantastic. We have not had any problems with any of the features or functions on this project at all. Every one that has operated this unit has been very pleased with all of the options and functions. It has side sprayers that move up and down that has been a great investment.
We are currently having another New Water Truck built. I expect it will be just as well put together and functional as the previous unit. I have complete confidence in their crew, everyone else that I have had contact with has been very pleasant to work with, they return phone calls, they email you pictures of your project as it is going through different stages of the buildup. They are a great group of people to work with.
What stood out the most working with Truck Works was the craftsmanship of the work that they did for us. Every component of the truck was built with pride. The tool box that they built in their shop looked like it was purchased from a manufacturer, it was actually better than something you could purchase off the shelf. They pay attention to all of the details, corners are rounded, things are painted, and it is all tested before it is delivered, just a great group of people that care about the finished product.
They have followed up with us to make sure we are pleased with our unit. They are just a first rate organization that really cares about what they are doing.
